Samsung's New Monitors: Speed and 3D Magic!

Plus, it supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, making it a serious gaming contender.

If you’re into high-resolution gaming, the Odyssey OLED G8 packs a 4K punch. It’s the world’s first 4K OLED monitor to hit a 240Hz refresh rate. With 165ppi pixel density, images are truly sharp. Like the G6, it also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400. Get ready for some 3D magic with the Odyssey 3D! This is Samsung's first glasses-free 3D monitor. Available in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes, it uses a 4K OLED panel and a 165Hz refresh rate. A lenticular lens and stereo front-facing camera track your eyes, creating vivid 3D imagery without the need for special glasses. This tech was first shown at Gamescom in August 2024. Samsung hasn't said anything about pricing or availability yet. We’ll have to wait for those details in the coming weeks.
