Saudi Arabia's Neom and Hakawati Team Up for Big Movie Projects

In a big move for Saudi Arabia's entertainment scene, Neom Media Hub and Hakawati Entertainment have joined forces to produce up to nine feature films. This partnership aims to bring Hollywood-level talent and significant financial investments to the table. Neom, known for its futuristic city development, has already attracted major productions like "Desert Warrior" and Bollywood's "Dunki. " Hakawati, led by industry experts, has produced several local films and series.

The first two films under this new partnership are set to start production in the first half of 2025. They'll benefit from Saudi Arabia's 40% cash rebate incentive and Neom's state-of-the-art infrastructure. The goal is to create a top-notch production services division that supports local talent and streamlines projects. Additionally, a new training program will be launched to foster Saudi creative talent.
