Scientific American, known for its science and tech coverage, endorsed Kamala Harris in the recent election—only the second time in its 179-year history that it backed a presidential candidate. The first was in 2020 when it supported Joe Biden. The election results showed Trump, who previously served as the 45th president, securing a solid win with 312 electoral votes.
