SOS Thrift Store, a Sauk Rapids-based business, has made a big move to a new location in St. Cloud, bringing with it a fresh start and a new name. The store, previously known as SOS Treasure Chest, has transformed into SOS Thrift Store, reflecting its shift from a treasure trove to a haven for second-hand treasures. The new location, formerly home to Paddy's Game Shoppe, offers a more spacious and inviting atmosphere for customers to explore. The store's owner, Julie Braun, is thrilled with the response from customers, reporting a significant increase in sales since the move. "Our sales have doubled since we opened at the new location," she says. "It's been amazing to see how well our customers have adapted to the new space." The store's manager, Amber Schafer, credits the name change to the store's evolution, saying it better reflects their mission to provide a treasure trove of thrifted goods.

The new location offers a vast array of items, including vintage books, glassware, clothing, furniture, collectibles, and more. Braun is excited about the opportunities the new space presents, stating, "We've outgrown our old location, and this new space will allow us to grow and expand our offerings." With its convenient location next to MT's on 8th in the Centennial Plaza, SOS Thrift Store is poised to become a go-to destination for bargain hunters and those seeking unique finds.
