Secret Soldiers: North Korea Sends Troops to Russia

You might have heard about the war in Ukraine. Well, North Korea has just stepped in, sending thousands of soldiers to help Russia. South Korea isn't happy about it and has asked Russia to send those soldiers back home right away. North Korea has sent about 1, 500 soldiers to Russia. These are special forces, the best of the best. They've reached Russia and might soon be fighting in Ukraine. North Korea has never done this before. South Korea thinks this is a big deal. They believe North Korea has been giving Russia weapons to use in the war. This breaks some important rules set by the United Nations.

South Korea showed Russia some pictures from space. They proved that the North Korean soldiers arrived in Russia on military ships. Seoul's spy agency took these pictures. They said these soldiers will soon be on the front lines in Ukraine. Both North Korea and Russia are in trouble with the United Nations. North Korea for its weapons and Russia for the war in Ukraine. So, their new partnership is causing problems. Russia says their partnership isn't against South Korea. But some experts think North Korea might get new military stuff like satellites and submarines in exchange for sending troops. South Korea has been selling lots of weapons to Poland, a key ally of Ukraine. But they don't want to sell weapons to Ukraine directly. They say it's their policy not to sell weapons to places where there's an active war.
