Let's start with the big name who could have had a good outing but struggled in the end. Carson Vinson from Alabama A&M, who got many snaps and had a rough time because he struggled to hold his own against tough pass-rushers.

        The "trial by fire" attitude in my opinion was not the smartest strategy. He often allowed pass rushers to get past him by giving up "soft edges. " We saw this when Landon Jackson stripped the ball from Vinson and nearly scored again.

        Though Vinson impressed during practice. The game showed that his performance might not be consistent enough for the NFL against top-level competition.  NFL scouts want to see small school FB offensive linemen succeed. However, playing against pro-level talent is a different story.

        Clay Webb from Jacksonville also had a tough day. He made mistakes as well, like a false start and letting a few passes happen. He was able to play with strength in some plays, but he was unable to keep the performance steady at that level. Webb might benefit from working in a consistent setup with a good center and offensive tackle.

        Web needed time to build a good connection with the center and tackle. Anything good he had during the week was soon forgotten.

        Grey Zabel from North Dakota State was a stand-out player during the week. He had a great practice and got the award for overall practice player of the week. Zabel was put to the test during the game.

        LSU's Sai'vion Jones gave him a run for his money. After moving to center, he struggled to get his head across when Virginia Tech's Aeneas Peebles got a tackle for loss. Moving positions can be tricky. You need a lot of practice to get good at it

        Pro football is about playing through adversity, staying tough under pressure. The way these athletes performed in the game is a testament to their abilities. All of these players have the talent to succeed at the NFL level
