Shaun White's Snow League Hits NBC and Peacock Screens

Shaun White, a famous snowboarder, has teamed up with NBC Sports to bring a new winter sports league to TV screens. The deal, lasting multiple years, will show the Snow League on both NBC and Peacock. The league focuses on snowboarding and freeskiing, with its first event happening in Aspen, Colorado on March 7 and 8. Four events will be live on Peacock, with replays on NBC. Athletes will compete for points throughout the season, and the winner will become the Snow League World Champion. The total prize money for the first season is over $1. 5 million.
NBC Sports is excited about this partnership. They think it will help showcase top athletes and build excitement for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina. David Sternberg and Dan Granik from Range Sports helped with the media rights negotiations for the Snow League.
