Should We Change Our Clocks Forever?
USAThursday, March 6, 2025
More than 1 million people voted in the poll within 13 hours. Over 50% of people want the clocks to be set an hour later. But there's also pushback from those who don't agree with moving the clocks forward. Some people think more evening sunlight means more time outside and increased productivity.
Musk started this discussion in November. He noticed that people were irritated by changing the clocks repeatedly. He got support from Trump Jr. and former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. Ramaswamy called the daylight saving system ancient and inefficient.
Musk wants to be part of history if and when America decides on daylight saving. But he's not the first to suggest this. Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has been advocating for abolishing this practice for years. Even the Joe Biden government declared letting go of this practice, but it came back.
Musk has made a big impact on the cabinet, federal system, and financial sector of the country. He wants to make a mark on everyday American lives. But can he make it happen? And if he does, will he share the credit with Kimmel?
This isn't just about changing the time. It's about how we experience our days and nights. It's about how we balance work and play. It's about how we live our lives. So, what do you think? Should we change our clocks forever?
