Here is the latest buzz among physical therapists (PTs) in Turkey. It's a whirlwind of opinions -- fixing up folks with ACL repairs.

        Most PTs (62. 3%) like to step in before the surgery, setting the stage for success.

        What happens post-ACL fix?

        Today,  a big chunk (34. 8%) of physios say to hold off on open-kinetic chain exercises for about 4-6

        long weeks, 3-4 months for a jog back.

        Some floors are sticking it out at least 6-9 months for a green light to

        running sports again- running sports. But its shocking to see some clearing patients for sport after just 9 months.

        Most PTs use muscle tests to gauge knee strength but whats shocking? Only 46. 7% should check the psychological

        readyness of the patient.

        Differences were noted in therapists with varied training levels.

        Without advanced degrees or many years of experience, therapists allowed patients to return to sports sooner

        yet still used PROMs more consistently.

        The findings said -- sadly, clinicians might not be totally aligned with the latest research because this inconsistency could lead to less-than-stellar recovery for ALC repairs so understanding this can

        help therapists use the newest evidence to boost their rehabilitation efforts.
