American Airlines to Resume Flights

Airlines are slowly returning to Israel. American Airlines is the latest to announce its return, starting flights from New York to Tel Aviv on March 28. This follows a long hiatus after the Hamas attack in October 2023, which sparked a major conflict in Gaza.

Other Airlines Resuming Service

• Delta and United have already resumed flights to Israel.
• Many foreign airlines had halted operations due to missile threats from Iran and Yemen.

Ceasefire Brings More Airlines Back

With a ceasefire in place, more airlines are set to restart services:

• Swiss

When American Airlines joins, it will be the fifth carrier offering nonstop flights to Israel from the U.S.

United Airlines Expands Routes

• Plans to add flights from Washington and Chicago soon.
