Smart Mirror Omnia: Your Health in a Reflection
Paris, FranceMonday, January 6, 2025
What sets Omnia apart is its ability to collate data and spot trends. It can alert you to changes in blood pressure, heart rate, sleep patterns, and even nutritional aspects. An AI voice assistant guides you through the data, answering questions and providing feedback. Withings envisions connecting users with healthcare professionals for virtual consultations that include easy access to data and visual assessments.
Eric Carreel, Withings' founder, sees Omnia as a tool for proactive health maintenance. By analyzing various health parameters, it offers a holistic perspective, helping users identify subtle health issues early. While Omnia is still in development and won't hit the market soon, it showcases features expected from Withings this year, such as AI-based health guidance and telemedicine efforts.
Even without Omnia, Withings' current products like smart scales, smartwatches, sleep pads, and blood pressure monitors offer similar health insights. At CES 2025, Withings will demonstrate a prototype of Omnia, joining other innovations like the NuraLogix Anura MagicMirror and the Amazfit HomeStudio.
