The stock market has been on a wild ride lately. Many stocks have shot up in value. Jim Cramer, a well-known TV personality, thinks this is a good time to cash in some of those gains.

Cramer's Recommendation

He believes that if you have stocks that have gone up a lot, you should sell some of them. He says these are just "paper gains" until you actually sell. Cramer pointed out over 30 stocks that have doubled in value so far this year. He thinks these are the ones to consider selling.

The Risks of Unbacked Stocks

Most of these stocks don't have much in earnings or sales. This reminds him of last summer's market, where people were investing in things like quantum computing and cryptocurrencies without much backing. Back then, he warned people to sell some of their stocks. Many of those stocks, like Oklo, later lost a lot of value.

Playing It Safe

Cramer is not saying to sell everything. He suggests selling a big part of your stocks and keeping the rest in cash. This way, you're playing it safe with the money you have left.

Market Uncertainty

All of this comes as the market has been a bit shaky. President Trump has been talking about tariffs on Greenland, which has made some investors nervous.
