By Monday night, most places should be cleared of snow. But the real challenge is the cold weather moving in. Meteorologists warn of the coldest temperatures of the season so far, with wind chills dropping to dangerous levels. On Monday and Tuesday nights, wind chills could feel like -15 degrees in some areas northwest of the I-95 corridor. A cold weather advisory has been issued to alert residents.

The reason for this sudden cold snap is a dip in the jet stream, allowing frigid air from the Arctic and Northern Canada to rush in. After tonight, the cold air will intensify.
