Lahore, Pakistan, is facing a severe smog issue. This mix of pollution, dust, and smoke under sunlight is bad for our health and the environment. It can cause breathing trouble, heart problems, and even affect unborn babies. As cities worldwide deal with smog, this study examined 50 scientific papers on different pollutants like PM2. 5, PM10, NO2, SO2, CO, O3, and CH4. They also looked at smog data over the past decade and got expert opinions through an online survey. The study found five key areas to reduce smog: nature-based solutions, better transportation, industrial changes, home practices, and public awareness. It also stressed working together with neighboring countries to tackle this problem. For emergencies on smog-heavy days, the study suggests temporary rules to control vehicle use, industrial outputs, and outdoor activities. By combining science, past data, and expert views, this study provides a solid plan for Lahore. It also helps global efforts to fight smog.
