This means that fans can no longer stream their favorite tracks from these artists on the popular video-sharing platform. The affected artists also include Alice in Chains, Burna Boy, and Fleetwood Mac.

SESAC's main job is to help songwriters protect their original work and collect royalties. However, YouTube and SESAC have been unable to reach an agreement on renewal terms, which has led to the blockage of public performances of these songs. This is not the first time that a dispute like this has occurred. Earlier this year, Universal Music Group had a similar issue with TikTok, which resulted in the removal of four million songs from the platform.
