Over-regulation is choking American industry, hurting our ability to manufacture domestically and affecting national security. Former President Donald Trump and his running mate, JD Vance, are proposing to cut back on these regulations. Vance, who wrote "Hillbilly Elegy, " understands the impact of offshoring manufacturing. He's introduced a Senate bill to reduce regulations that hinder American production. Trump, during his presidency, also cut back on federal regulations, describing them as a "merciless avalanche" that shipped jobs overseas.

Despite the challenges, entrepreneurs across the U. S. are working hard to revitalize the industrial base. They're building factories, creating jobs, and innovating in areas like national security and clean energy. But to truly thrive, they need the government to step back. Ronald Reagan, during his reelection in 1984, credited the economic recovery to getting the government out of the way. The same could be true today.
