Fans of the quirky spy series "Slow Horses" can look forward to more adventures. Apple TV+ has greenlit a sixth season for the show, which is based on Mick Herron's popular novels. Gary Oldman reprises his role as Jackson Lamb, the gruff leader of a ragtag MI5 team dubbed the "slow horses." This season, the crew faces a high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge, as they're on the run from their frenemy, MI5 deputy boss Diana Taverner.

The series, known for its wit and action, has a talented cast including Kristin Scott Thomas, Jonathan Pryce, and many others. Each season has six episodes, and Season 6 will be no different. The show is produced by See-Saw Films and has a list of executive producers, including Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, and Gary Oldman himself. Season 4 ended with a bang, revealing personal news about River Cartwright (Jack Lowden) and a tragic fate for a Slough House team member. This new season promises more twists and turns, directed by Adam Randall who also helmed Season 4.
