Spiritual Care in ICUs: A New Look at Helping Adult Patients Heal

Caring for really sick adults in ICUs is complicated. Health workers need to think about more than just the disease. They should consider the patients' spiritual needs too. This helps patients heal better. Many ICUs don't make spiritual care a priority. So, we need more information on how to add spiritual care into daily ICU routines. This review will dig deep into spiritual care interventions for adults in ICUs using the JBI methodology and other guidelines.

The review will include different types of studies and won't have a date limit. Two people will check each study carefully. The results will be organized into diagrams or tables and summarized in a final report. This is the first time anyone has done a big review like this just for adults in ICUs. The findings will help improve the spiritual care given to patients, making ICU care more holistic and less focused on just the body.
