Sports Stars Unite to Fight Antisemitism
Boston, USAThursday, October 10, 2024
Kraft's foundation says that around 10% of U.S. adult males openly dislike Jewish people. That's why they're bringing in big names like Billie Jean King, Shaquille O'Neal, and many others to send a clear message: hate has no place in our communities. The ad will be seen not just on TV, but also on digital platforms and billboards across the country.
Kraft believes that by teaming up, they can make their message even stronger. "When we unite, we amplify our voice," he said. "Sports can do more than just entertain; it can bring people together and stand against hate."
Kraft has been working on this issue for a while. He started the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism in 2019. Recently, he stopped supporting his old university, Columbia, because of their handling of anti-Israel protests. Instead, he donated $1 million to Yeshiva University to help Jewish students with their tuition.
This campaign isn't just about sports; it's about making a real difference in the world. It's about saying that hate isn't acceptable, and it's about encouraging everyone to stand up for what's right.
