When bad weather strikes the Midlands, many institutions such as schools, churches, and businesses may close or adjust their hours. WIS is here to keep everyone informed by providing an easy way to report these changes.

How to Report a Closure

1. Create an Account

   • You need an online account with WIS to report a closure.
   • If you don’t have one or forgot your password, email [email protected] for assistance.

2. Log In and Manage Your Organization

   • Once logged in, you can manage the status of your organization.

3. Reporting a Closure

   • Select your organization from a list.
   • Choose its status (e.g., closed, open).
   • Set a date for the closure.
   • If unsure about reopening, select "until further notice."
   • A preview will show your details before submission.

4. Adding Extra Information

   • You can include additional details with a secondary status.
   • Some organizations can enter their own unique status.
   • To update a status, delete the old one and enter the new details.
