Staying the Course: Harvard Football's New Chapter
Harvard, Cambridge, USAThursday, September 19, 2024
Aurich doesn't see a need to overhauls the program. Instead, he's making minor changes to practice and meeting structures, nutrition, and sports science decisions. The new coach has added just three new assistants, and the rest of the staff has remained largely unchanged. This continuity has been a major factor in Harvard's success, and Aurich believes it will continue to yield positive results.
One area where Aurich is making a change is with the quarterbacks. Last season, junior Jaden Craig and senior Charles Deprima split playing time, and Aurich plans to continue to use both of them. "My plan is to make sure that we are getting them both on the field to help us win games," Aurich said. "What exactly that looks like is yet to be determined, but they both are going to have an impact on our success every Saturday."
