Steel City Success: Justin Fields' Star Shines Bright

The Pittsburgh Steelers were on the verge of disaster early on in their Sunday game against the Los Angeles Chargers. However, quarterback Justin Fields turned things around in a big way, leading his team to a 20-10 victory. Fields' impressive performance included a touchdown run and a touchdown pass, and he finished the day with 245 passing yards. The win moves the Steelers to 3-0, and it's hard to imagine the team making any changes at the quarterback position anytime soon. The game wasn't always looking good for the Steelers. The Chargers struggled without their starting quarterback, Justin Herbert, who left the game in the third quarter with an ankle injury. Taylor Heinicke came in and was sacked three times, and the Chargers had little hope of rallying once their quarterback left the game. Los Angeles also saw several key players leave with injuries, including left tackle Rashawn Slater and edge rusher Joey Bosa. Austin had a career-high 95 receiving yards, and George Pickens had five catches for 57 yards. Najee Harris and Cordarrelle Patterson combined for 103 rushing yards, including several big runs to kill the clock late in the fourth quarter. The Steelers' 346 yards of offense was a key factor in their victory, and they'll look to continue that trend in their next game against the Indianapolis Colts.
