Steph Curry: Health First, Then Basketball

I don’t want to push it and risk getting hurt again. " The injury happened during the Clippers game. Curry twisted his ankle in the third quarter and played through it, only to re-injure it in the next quarter. He admitted, "I made a mistake. The adrenaline got to me, and I didn’t stop when I should have. " This time, he’s taking it slow. He needs to build his endurance back up and avoid fatigue.

Coach Kerr is also being careful. He’ll decide on Curry’s minutes for the next game based on how he feels. If all goes well, Curry might play more in the upcoming Celtics game. Tonight’s performance was a good test. Despite playing the least minutes of the season, he scored the most points and looked like his old self. Curry sees tonight’s game as a stepping stone. The Wizards were an easier challenge, but the Celtics will be tougher. He needs to carry this momentum forward.
