Steve Mosko Joins Radial Entertainment Board
Steve Mosko, a seasoned leader who once steered Sony Pictures’ global television division and led Village Roadshow Entertainment, has taken a seat on Radial Entertainment’s board. The move signals the company’s ambition to grow faster and tap new opportunities in a crowded market.
Radial’s Rapid Expansion
Backed by Oaktree Capital Management, Radial has been building its catalog through acquisitions of Shout! Studios, FilmRise and Gravitas Ventures. The firm now boasts more than 70,000 titles across a wide array of formats—everything from blockbuster dramas to niche horror series. With distribution spread over free and paid streaming, traditional TV, and even physical media, Radial is positioned to reach audiences wherever they watch.
Mosko’s Fit with the Strategy
Mosko’s experience fits perfectly with Radial’s strategy. While at Sony, he helped create hit shows like Breaking Bad, The Crown and Jeopardy! He also expanded Village Roadshow’s slate, adding popular series such as The Blacklist and Shark Tank. His track record shows he can turn a production pipeline into a global revenue engine.
“Radial has the scale and infrastructure to compete at the highest level,” Mosko told a recent interview.
“Joining the board gives me an opportunity to help shape its next chapter and bring my operational discipline to a company already on a tremendous growth trajectory.”
A Broader Push into Entertainment
The addition of Mosko reflects Oaktree’s broader push into entertainment, where it believes the combination of strong content and efficient delivery will drive long‑term success. With Mosko’s guidance, Radial is set to strengthen its position as a key player in the evolving media landscape.
