Fans of Stranger Things have been buzzing about some confusing moments in the latest season. After Volume 1 dropped on November 26, viewers started noticing things that didn't quite add up.

Inconsistencies in Will's Flashbacks

One big issue was in episode four, "Sorcerer," where Will has flashbacks to key moments in his life. Fans pointed out that these memories didn't quite match up with what we've seen before.

In the episode, young Will and his brother Jonathan are seen building Castle Byers on a sunny day. But here's the thing: in season 2, Jonathan said they built it in the pouring rain and got sick afterward. Fans were quick to call out this inconsistency.

"It's weird they were acting so happy on the day their dad left."

"Birthdaygate" and Other Mix-Ups

In another scene from season 5, Joyce says Will was 11 when he was taken to the Upside Down. However, there's a missing persons poster that says he was 12. Fans have been calling this "Birthdaygate," a reference to an earlier mix-up about Will's birthday.

In season 4, episode 2, which was supposed to be on Will's birthday, no one mentioned it at all.

The Duffer brothers, who created the show, later said they forgot about the birthday and apologized. They even thought about changing Will's birthday to May 22 to make it less sad.

It's clear that even the creators can make mistakes, and fans are always ready to catch them.
