Everton's Dominic Calvert-Lewin is a man in demand, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle United vying for the 27-year-old's signature.
Calvert-Lewin, who has been a consistent performer for the Toffees since his debut in 2016, has rejected several contract offers from Everton, leading to speculation about his future at Goodison Park. The England international has a record of 68 goals and 18 assists in 249 appearances for Everton and is currently contracted until June 2025. However, with his contract expiring in just over two years and Everton yet to agree on a new deal, the striker could be available for a reduced price in the final days of the summer window.
Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle United are all reportedly interested in signing Calvert-Lewin, who has been valued at over £40m but could now be available for less. Chelsea view him as a cheaper alternative to Victor Osimhen, who has been linked with a move to Saudi club Al-Ahli for a £55m fee. However, Osimhen's move to the Middle East appears to be off, leaving Chelsea to consider a move for Calvert-Lewin instead.
Calvert-Lewin had two injury-hit seasons but is now back to full fitness and looking to get amongst the goals once again. Everton are aware that they risk losing him for even less in January or potentially on a free transfer next summer, so it remains to be seen where the striker will end up.
