Student's Stand Against Trump's Orders Leads to Deportation Fears

However, they received an email from a Justice Department lawyer asking Taal to turn himself in to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The email invited Taal and his counsel to appear at the HSI Office in Syracuse to surrender to ICE custody. Taal's attorney, Eric Lee, criticized the Trump administration's actions. He stated that the administration responded to Taal's lawsuit by sending agents to stake out his house.
