Ever since the days when cars had vinyl record players, in-car entertainment has come a long way. Today, most vehicles come with touchscreens offering a world of entertainment, navigation, and communication features. Subaru, a Japanese carmaker, has its own system called Starlink. This tech is available in most of their gasoline-powered cars.
Starlink comes in two main parts: Starlink Safety and Security, and Starlink Multimedia. Safety and Security is all about safety features like collision notification, roadside assistance, and even stolen vehicle recovery. It also has alerts for speed and curfews, which can be handy for parents keeping tabs on their teens.
The other part, Starlink Multimedia, is an infotainment system similar to what you'd find in other modern cars. It comes in three versions: an entry-level system with dual 7-inch screens, and two higher-end versions with an 11. 6-inch screen—the Starlink Multimedia Plus and the Starlink Multimedia Navigation. All versions support features like Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. But if you're looking for in-vehicle GPS and traffic updates, you'll need one of the higher-end systems.
So, which Subaru models come with Starlink? Read on to find out!
