Registration has begun for the 2026 Summer Recreation Program at the Bay County Community Center, kicking off on June 8 and wrapping up July 30.  

The program welcomes kids between 5 and 14 years old, offering a mix of sports, field trips, and arts projects.  

Sessions run from 8 a. m. to 12:30 p. m. , Monday through Thursday, giving families a predictable schedule during the summer months.  

Meals are part of the package: breakfast and lunch will be served to every child who signs up.  

Participation costs $140 per camper, but children must turn five by June 10 to qualify for the program.  

During this period, the community center’s pool will be closed for construction; the work zone will be fully fenced to keep everyone safe.
