Unity Park will light up the evening of Thursday, July 2, from six in the evening until ten. The night will mix music, tasty treats and a splash of classical flair when the Greenville Symphony Orchestra steps onto the stage before the fireworks explode. Residents from across Upstate are expected to head out, drawn by the promise of bright colors and good company.

The schedule starts at six with a local band called Upstate of Mind. At seven the park turns into a tribute to the armed forces, and half an hour later the band plays again. Nine o’clock marks a special concert by the symphony, setting the mood for the main fireworks that launch at nine‑thirty. Just before midnight a light show will finish the program.

Parking is plentiful, with both free and paid options near the park and downtown. Those who drive into town can hop on a trolley that links the Greenlink Transit Center to Unity Park from five to nine in the evening, and again after the show. Afterward visitors might walk back to their cars along the Swamp Rabbit Trail if they prefer.

Safety plans are in place. Police will manage traffic around the park, and officers will direct cars instead of relying on GPS. Pedestrian safety after the finale is a priority; people should allow time for crowds to disperse and for cleanup crews to clear the area.

The park will be well‑served with drinks. Four Pepsi stations will offer water and soda, while the Commons and food trucks on Mayberry Street provide a range of options. From mini donuts to burgers, sweets, wings and noodle dishes, there is something for every taste.

Event rules are strict. Attendees should leave pets at home and avoid bringing alcohol, fireworks, sparklers or grills. Smoking is also prohibited during the show.
