A breeze from the northwest is expected to pick up around midday, reaching speeds of 11‑16 miles per hour. This wind will feel like a push in Manhattan’s opening stretch, but later it will become a helpful tailwind toward Brooklyn.  

Nightfall on Saturday and the early hours of Sunday might bring brief showers, leaving a few puddles for participants to navigate.  

The day’s temperatures will climb roughly ten degrees between 8 a. m. and 2 p. m. , so layering clothes is wise to stay comfortable as the heat builds.
