NK-CdM also boosts the production of enzymes and proteins that help maintain skin health. These include ELOVL enzymes and ceramide synthases, which are essential for keeping skin barrier strong and healthy. By boosting these proteins, NK-CdM helps prevent UVB-induced skin damage and promotes overall skin health. However, it's important to note that while these findings are promising, more research is needed to fully understand the potential of NK-CdM in protecting the skin from UVB damage.
