Saturday, February 8, 2025
The Caesars Superdome is no stranger to big events. The stadium has been hosting seven times the Super Bowl, with the latest in 2013. With a history of iconic moments outside of football. While not the largest stadium, it can hold 76, 468 eager fans. The Superdome has hosted huge events, from the likes of Joe Frazier winning boxing matches to Pope John Paul II to evacuees from Hurricane Katrina during a difficult time in history
The teams got to the Super Bowl in different ways. Chiefs had an easy time while the Eagles had an uphill run.
Chiefs team needed two wins to win to get there. The first against the Texans after an easy round win. The second in a nail-biter against a top team.
The Eagles, who had to play more than any other team. showed how easy it is to be a top team in the game. The Eagles beat the Green Bay Packers in the wildcard round and the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round to get a spot at the big game. The Eagles also enjoyed the win in the NFC Championship game.
Barkley won in style against the Washington Commanders. The Eagles scored 55 points to the Washington's 23. The Eagles QB scored 3 on the ground and 1 through the air as well. Far more than anyone would expect.
