Survival Star Sarah Danser's Life Cut Short by Tragic Accident

Sarah Danser, a well-known face from the Discovery Channel's survival series "Naked And Afraid, " met a sad end in a car crash in Hawaii. The accident happened on October 20, and she passed away two days later. The Colorado native, who had made Hawaii her home for over a decade, was a passenger in a car that lost control and hit a parked vehicle. Both the driver and someone in the parked car were also seriously injured.

Sarah was no stranger to challenging situations. She had appeared in several seasons of "Naked And Afraid" and its spin-off "Naked And Afraid XL. " Her most recent project was the CW's "Fight To Survive. " Fellow survivor Melissa Lauren remembered Sarah as an adventurous spirit, noting that she had even survived breast cancer with a positive attitude. Sarah's love for nature and the ocean was evident. She was a boat captain and scuba diver, living life to the fullest. Her Instagram bio read, "Pirate, Boat Captain, SCUBA Diver, Survivalist. " Lauren described Sarah as someone who saw the world with wonder, appreciating things many take for granted.
