Two groups, the Berks-Mont Business Association and Building a Better Boyertown, collaborated to make this event a reality. Together, they raised over $3,000 for Preston’s Pantry, an organization dedicated to helping those in need. The event was part of Small Business Saturday, a day dedicated to supporting local businesses. With around 300 attendees, it was a resounding success.

Participants had the chance to visit 25 local businesses, sampling cocoa, coffee, and cookies along the way. Some businesses even partnered to enhance the experience, making it a fun and flavorful adventure through town.

Kids weren’t left out—they enjoyed a scavenger hunt, searching for hidden piggy banks and solving clues. Those who completed the hunt took home a piggy bank as a reward, adding a playful element to the event.
