T-Mobile's Latest Price Hike: Who's Affected and Why?
USAThursday, March 13, 2025
Freier assured customers that no line which received a prior increase will see another adjustment. So, if a customer's plan was increased last year, they won't see another hike this time. The memo also mentioned that some customers might see an adjustment on an older phone plan if they had a price increase on other products, like a cellular watch plan. But the new $5 increase won't be added on top of that; it could be applied to another line on the same account.
T-Mobile promises that all existing benefits and rate plan types will remain the same, even with the increase. In the past, customers had the option to contact support and push back against being moved to newer, higher-priced plans. But this time, the increase will be automatically added to affected accounts. This leaves customers with limited options if they want to avoid the price hike.
