Pop star Taylor Swift made an appearance at Kansas City’s stadium on Monday night, eager to cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, the Chiefs tight end. This is Swift’s first game of the season, following her attendance at the team’s matchup in Week 2. Kelce, who just turned 35, and Swift, 34, have been together since last year.

Swift missed Kelce’s notable performance against the Chargers in Week 4. In that game, Kelce had a standout day, catching seven passes for 89 yards against a divisional rival. Despite the Chiefs’ undefeated record, Kelce hasn’t been playing at his usual high standard this season. His average yards per reception and yards per game are the lowest of his career so far. The Chiefs could certainly use Kelce’s contributions. The team is dealing with injuries, including the absence of last season’s top rusher, Isiah Pacheco, who broke a fibula in Week 2. Additionally, leading receiver Rashee Rice is likely out for the season.
