Taylor Swift's Surprise Nashville Performance
Nashville, USAWednesday, June 25, 2025
During her performance of "Shake It Off, " Swift praised Brown's tambourine playing and joked about how the band had only just found out they were going to play three minutes before they did. The performance was a hit with the crowd, and videos of it quickly spread on social media.
The benefit concert is the only public event associated with Tight End University, which is otherwise limited to the fewer than 100 NFL tight ends who come together in Nashville for meetings and discussions each year. The event was started four years ago by George Kittle, the tight end for the San Francisco 49ers, who brought in Kelce and Greg Olsen to help spearhead the event.
Before the concert, Swift and Kelce attended a private welcome reception at the Nashville nightclub L. A. Jackson, followed by a visit to Jason Aldean's Kitchen and Rooftop Bar. The couple seemed to be enjoying their time in Nashville, and Swift's surprise performance was a highlight of the event.
