Director Barry Sonnenfeld recently spilled the beans on a podcast, saying they had to evacuate the set for three hours because of Will's little problem. The scene was intense: a transforming car flipping at hyper speeds. Smith and Jones were sealed inside a pod to film it safely. But then, disaster struck. Well, not quite disaster, but certainly an embarrassing moment. "Roll camera," Sonnenfeld called out. Suddenly, he heard Smith apologize profusely. "So sorry, Tommy. Baz, get the ladder." Jones tried to calm him down, saying it was no big deal. But the damage was done. The pod was filled with a smell that couldn't be ignored.

Even after this mishap, Sonnenfeld went on to direct two more Men in Black movies with Smith. But none of them reached the box office success of the original.
