The Indiana Fever's Big Move: A New Training Hub on the Horizon

The Indiana Fever Sports Performance Center is designed with the specific needs of female athletes in mind. It will feature two regulation-size courts, a full-service kitchen, and various wellness areas including a hydration station, yoga and Pilates space, and advanced strength and conditioning equipment. Additionally, amenities like massages, infrared light therapy, saunas, steam rooms, heat studios, float tanks, and hydrotherapy pools will be available to ensure the players have everything they need to excel.
Fever president Kelly Krauskopf emphasized the importance of this investment in the team's future. She believes that providing first-class resources tailored to women athletes will set the Indiana Fever apart and contribute to their success.
In the meantime, the Indiana Fever are gearing up for their 2025 season, which kicks off on May 17 against the Chicago Sky in Indianapolis. Gainbridge Fieldhouse will also host the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game on July 19, further cementing Indianapolis's status as a major league sports city.
Mayor Joe Hogsett praised the significant investment from Pacers Sports & Entertainment, noting that it will drive momentum for women's basketball in the community. As the interest in women's sports continues to grow worldwide, this new facility represents a commitment to elevating the game and supporting the athletes.
