From Football to Boxing

Harvey's journey in boxing began at the age of 12 when his football coach, Darrell Davis, saw his potential and encouraged him to try boxing. Initially balancing both sports, he soon dedicated himself to boxing. Over nine years, he built an impressive amateur record of 59 wins and 7 losses.

His big break came at the 2021 World Championships, where he won gold in the men’s 57 kg division, ending a 14-year drought for American men at the event. In 2023, he added another gold medal at the Pan American Games in Santiago, securing his spot in the Paris 2024 Olympics. Although he reached the quarterfinals at the Games, his performance showcased his skill and determination.

Turning Professional

In 2025, Harvey turned professional and signed with Most Valuable Promotions. His professional debut in August 2025 was a knockout, literally, as he defeated Marcelo Del Aguila in the first round. With a professional record of 1-0, Harvey is ready for his next big fight.
