Her longtime friend and publicist, Dan Harary, confirmed that she died after a long illness at Culver West Health Center in California. Jill was a vibrant and positive person, deeply loved by her family, friends, and even her pets, Benny and Kowalski. She was also a dedicated spokesperson for the American Cancer Society, winning awards for her work. Earlier this year, she shared that she had battled esophageal cancer for two and a half years, a struggle that kept her out of the spotlight for a while.
