The Trump administration's Department of Government Efficiency, known as DOGE, is considering new steps which could greatly impact data breaches in the US. A prominent data privacy group has taken action on these steps. The group is suing the government and DOGE, alleging that the agency has led to an unparalleled breach. This situation highlights data privacy concerns involving DoGE, according to the group. They argue it has led to a breach of personal information which is unprecedented in the history of the U. S. This has been a leading cause for concern and this could have huge consequences for federal workers and the general public. The Justice Department and Treasury Department have also been sued, and this is one of the many complaints in the current administration to reduce costs. The group states that the government agencies have not followed the Federal Information Security Modernization Act and violated the Privacy Act.
