To handle this data, they used three different methods: Multiplicative Scatter Correction, Savitzky-Golay smoothing, and Standard Normal Variate transformation. These techniques helped clean up the data and make it easier to analyze. Then, they introduced a new algorithm called Enhanced Information Acquisition Optimization. This algorithm picked out the most important wavelengths, narrowing it down to just 23 key ones. This step was crucial because it made the data more manageable and focused.

Next, they built models to classify the seed vigor. They tried three different methods: Extreme Learning Machine, Random Forest, and Support Vector Machine. Each method had its own strengths, but Random Forest came out on top with an accuracy of 91. 45%. This was a big improvement over previous methods, showing that the new approach was more effective.

The success of this method was tested on other datasets as well. The results were consistent, proving that hyperspectral imaging combined with the new algorithm is a reliable way to check seed quality. This could be a game-changer for farmers, helping them choose the best seeds for planting. It's a smart and efficient way to ensure that only the strongest seeds make it to the field.

However, while this method shows great promise, it's important to remember that technology is just one part of the puzzle.
