The Power of Tiny, Mobile Brain Proteins in Alzheimer's

Importantly, when S extracts from healthy human brains were used, none of these negative effects were seen. This suggests that the mobile forms of Aβ from Alzheimer's brains can trigger the clumping of normal Aβ and accelerate the harmful effects of the disease.
