The Supreme Court Says: RFK Jr. Stays on the Ballot
WisconsinMichigan, USAWednesday, October 30, 2024
It's not the first time Kennedy has faced this situation. He tried to stay on the ballot in New York but was rejected. His presence on the ballot in swing states could really shake things up in the tight presidential race. Kennedy has been trying to get off the ballot in seven key swing states since he backed Trump. Michigan and Wisconsin are the last two where his name was expected to stay.
In Michigan, he won an appeals court case but missed the deadline to withdraw. In Wisconsin, the law says qualified candidates must stay on the ballot unless they die, and covering his name with stickers wasn't an option.
