The Supreme Court Says: RFK Jr. Stays on the Ballot

So, the Supreme Court has spoken! They've said no to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. 's emergency request to remove his name from the presidential ballot in Wisconsin and Michigan. Kennedy wanted out because he's now backing Donald Trump. But the justices weren't having it. Early voting is already happening, so it's too late to change things, said both states. The court didn't explain why they rejected the appeal, except that Justice Neil Gorsuch disagreed in the Michigan case.

It's not the first time Kennedy has faced this situation. He tried to stay on the ballot in New York but was rejected. His presence on the ballot in swing states could really shake things up in the tight presidential race. Kennedy has been trying to get off the ballot in seven key swing states since he backed Trump. Michigan and Wisconsin are the last two where his name was expected to stay. In Michigan, he won an appeals court case but missed the deadline to withdraw. In Wisconsin, the law says qualified candidates must stay on the ballot unless they die, and covering his name with stickers wasn't an option.
