Taleb, known for his anti-Islam views, was a former Muslim who shared critical tweets about the religion and its practices. His social media profile highlighted his support for the far-right, anti-immigrant Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. Taleb had also been an activist, helping Saudi women escape their country, but recently, his focus shifted to alleging that German authorities were unfairly targeting Saudi asylum-seekers.
