The Unwelcome Guests: A Coach's Home Sweet Nightmare
Detroit, USAMonday, September 23, 2024
The unwanted visitors started pouring in, with prank callers sending contractors to the residence for bogus maintenance projects. The harassment became so intense that Campbell had to file a police report with the Bloomfield Township police. In an interview with Crain's Detroit Business, Campbell revealed that the situation got out of hand, making it impossible for him and his family to enjoy their home. "The home is beautiful," Campbell said, "but it's just that people figured out where we lived when we lost."
The Campbells bought their home for a whopping $3.5 million in 2021, but they were forced to sell it for $4.5 million just a year later. The family is now living in a new, private residence, far from the prying eyes and unwanted visitors. It's a sobering reminder that even in the world of sports, the consequences of losing can be severe and far-reaching.
