Lee Zeldin, Trump's pick for the Environmental Protection Agency, shared on X about a pipe bomb threat targeting his home, and Brooke Rollins, the choice for Agriculture secretary, also reported a threat against her family.
The US Capitol Police and other law enforcement agencies are keeping details confidential to protect ongoing investigations and prevent further incidents. The Trump transition team declined to provide additional details, and CNN reached out to the US Secret Service and the Department of Homeland Security for comment.
