In yesterday's high school sports action, the ice was busy with both boys and girls hockey games. The boys' hockey scene saw Moorhead shut out St. Cloud Crush 6-0, while Sauk Rapids-Rice dominated Fergus Falls with an 8-4 victory. Bryden Prelvitz and Hunter Behling were stars for Sauk Rapids-Rice, each scoring goals and assists. On the girls' side, Sartell-Sauk Rapids edged out Fergus Falls 3-2, and St. Cloud continued their winning streak, beating River Lakes 6-3. Liz Bell shone for St. Cloud, scoring two goals and one assist. Over in basketball, Sauk Rapids-Rice crushed ROCORI 89-54, led by Izayah Cook with 16 points. Sartell-St. Stephen narrowly beat Apollo 78-73, with some impressive scoring by both teams. Albany had a big win over Little Falls, 59-26, with Zeke Austin leading the charge. Becker also won big, beating Chisago Lakes 82-55 in boys' basketball. The girls' basketball games saw Becker defeat Chisago Lakes 63-15, and Litchfield beat Paynesville 59-43. In swimming, Tech-Cathedral-ROCORI-Becker came out on top against Sauk Rapids-Rice 96-90. Joey Krueger's third place in the 500 free and his part in the second-place 400 free relay helped seal the victory. Gymnastics saw St. Cloud Crush outscore Willmar 140. 25 to 130. 95.
